This treasure hunt was not just a one-time event. Our Guardian Agents are checking and replenishing the treasure as needed. The treasure chest has been stashed and is ready for any Agent Family to discover whenever they have the time and willingness to hunt for it!

PLEASE BE SURE TO READ ALL THE DETAILS BELOW BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN THIS TREASURE HUNT
Stashed within a 40 minute drive from the Charlotte Douglas Airport, this treasure is on public land. It is accessible for all family members capable of a 2 mile hike from the nearest parking area.
WARNING: The terrain is technical and steep in areas. Be prepared to huff and puff your way up the trail. Watch your step, but also stay alert to what is ahead and above. Prep for any and all weather conditions! Check the forecast, prep accordingly, and have your wits about you!
Now that you’re aware of the preliminary details, let's get to the good stuff… the riddle!!
Study the riddle closely. Screenshot it, copy it, download it, do what you must! Just be sure you have access to it while you’re on the hunt (there may be stretches of this journey that put you out of cell service).

Trail Report: August 8th, 2022 🌼
“Agent Axel Poli and I had a great Adventure at the NC treasure location. We are happy to report that there are no new changes along the trail. The treasure is fully stocked and ready for Agent families to come!
Agent Axel Poli really wanted to make it to the top this time. So after restocking the treasure we climbed to the summit... and practiced our trail running most of the way down! Thanks for the inspiration Agent Strongman and Agent Chongzilla!”
PLEASE NOTE:
Vandalism occurred after I (Agent Strong Man) originally placed the treasure. Thanks to the updates from Agent Axel Mommy and Axel Poli, there has been a slight change in verbiage in the riddle from its original form to account for this change in signage on the trail.

To begin you must travel to,A visitors center so many pass through,With multiple options, it’s imperative to listen,To the following and complete the mission.Next to the many green metal roofs,Stands a few informative booths,Details both historical and new, Are important for agents to view.To make sure you’re on the route,Gather the info and plan your commute,Toward the first intersection you’ll meet,On this epic adventure by feet. Toward the Pinnacle you’ll need to go,One step at a time, feel the flow,You’re on the move to the next,Important marker of this quest.Twists, turns and alternate trails,Will try to throw you off the rails,Just keep on climbing and look out for,A sign that encourages a “SUMMIT” to explore.Don’t miss this, keep your head up,This will help increase your luck,Eventually you’ll find the tree,That bends, to a quite surprising degree.Arching across the soil and sporting,An orange marker perfect for reporting,You’ve reach the point where a map,Will no longer help you on this path.This unique pine,Will act as a sign,Pointing perpendicular to,The walk to the view.Venture uphill and scan the ground,Stare a while and you’ll see it around,Only this conceals the treasure,It’s hidden beside a rotten layer.The bark is gone but the center remains,Its camo ability still retained,This great big timber of the past,Hid the reward you’ve found, at last!
